All our woods and rocks are aquarium safe*. However some rocks will harden your water , which may not be suitable for some fish and shrimp. Check the product description before use.
We recommend all rocks are rinsed to remove any excess dust before use.
Most woods will initially float until they become water logged. This can take anything from 2 days to 2 weeks. It is advised to pre soak wood to remove unwanted tannins and ensure floating doesn’t occur. You can also use a rock or glue to anchor your wood in place.
*Millennium wood requires soaking for 3 – 6 weeks to ensure it is non toxic to fish.
Of course! Please fill in our CONTACT US form with details of your setup and we’d be very happy to recommend plants which will be best suited for your tank.
