Description
Betta smaragdina is a beautiful species of wild betta native to the Khorat Plateau in eastern Thailand.
The natural habitat of Betta smaragdina is typical very slow moving with lots of cover and shade provided by submerged and emergent plant growth. The substrate can be sandy or covered in leaf litter.
Not recommended for community aquariums. Best kept alone or as a breeding pair.
