This will allow the rhizome, the horizontal stem from which the fronds grow, to anchor itself securely. Avoid burying the rhizome in the substrate, as this can lead to rotting.

Bolbitis heudelotii is a relatively low-maintenance plant that can tolerate a wide range of water parameters.
