Ensure that the rhizome, the thick horizontal stem from which the leaves sprout, is above the substrate to prevent rotting.

Positioning Java Fern in the aquarium depends on personal preference. It can be placed as a midground or background plant, or even as a center-piece. Its versatility allows it to be incorporated into various aquascaping styles. The plant’s arching and flowing leaves create a beautiful contrast against other aquatic plants and add a natural and tranquil atmosphere to the tank.
