Prior to adding Talawa to your aquarium, it’s recommended that you soak the wood for at least two weeks. This will help to prevent any unwanted excess tannins and help prevent floating.

If you would rather use this wood without the tannins staining the aquarium water, then please add Purigen to your canister filter or boil / soak the wood until the water remains clear.
