The coarse structure of the chemically purified pieces of filter lava makes them particularly suitable as biological filter substrate in all kinds of pond filters. In the many pores of the porous material, many billions of microorganisms will develop over time, whereby an ideal filtering of the pond occurs.

Instructions:

Fill the enclosed net with filter media and rinse it several times with ample water to remove dust.It can them be placed in the filter.

Can also be used as a substrate layer in an aquarium to build up larger mounds of substrate.
